Koss Corporation founder John Koss shares his behind-the-scenes story of inventing the world’s first SP/3 stereophone in 1958, and the emotional thrill of being “enclosed in the music” thanks to his innovation. One of the product’s unique features was a privacy switch, which allowed listeners to hear music by plugging in the world’s first SP/3 stereophone.
The product feature which stands out for me, and reason I chose to purchase the Koss KTXPRO1, is the volume control. Another reviewer of this product had stated the volume control is difficult to see. That statement was not relevant for me as a person who is blind.
I directly compared this with the Sony MDR-ZX300AP Sound Monitoring Headphones (2x the price) and pair of Panasonic light weight headphones (1/2 the price). The Sony and this Koss had fantastic sound quality. Additionally this one was louder at he same volume setting.
Their comfortable design, impressive sound quality, and reasonable price point make them a must-have for any audio enthusiast. I was truly impressed by the clear audio and deep bass they delivered.Additionally, their sturdy build ensures durability, making them a reliable choice for long-term use.
TL;DR – sound amazing, but lack of volume controls makes switching between games/programs annoying. It’s a bit of a weird idea to use open-back cans for gaming. Most gamers prefer the isolated of closed-back headphones because it helps to maintain the immersion.
